  Andre (Salesperson) on ACK is professional and competent but the delivery men were crude and apathetic. Scheduled white glove delivery service to my ACK address and was assured that the delivery men would have floor protection for my staircase runners. The carpeting is light colored. When they arrived, I asked the lead delivery man if he had booties and protective material for the stair runners. He replied, "It's not our job. If you want us to come back, you can reschedule." I was able to locate unused runner padding and protected the carpeting myself. They still dirtied a rug in the upstairs foyer. After calling KAM's Hyannis location, they sent over a manager, with a delivery men to apologize. He stated that things could have been done better and that they have never run into this issue. He never offered to have the foyer carpeting cleaned. At the very least, he should have done that and refunded the $150 delivery fee. It's simply hard to believe that an appliance company can have total disregard for your property and furnishings. So if I had not protected the carpeting, would it have been okay for them to destroy the rugs with dirty work boots? This being Nantucket, there are not a lot of local options but BestBuy, Home Depot, Costco and Marine Hardware (local) all deliver. Very short sighted on KAM's part given how much we have spent with them in the last 8 years. I've attached several pictures to demonstrate what their boots did to a towel and the rug at the top of the staircase . In addition, you will see the rug runners I used to protect the runner on the staircase. Lastly, I just uploaded a picture of the staircase runner that I protected. Happy to provide the video of the runner which has already been emailed to Andre and the manager.
